More than the familiar family
Alongside Jan, Jans en de Kinderen are Sjors en Sjimmie, Gregor, Tommy and Kwynk. Kruis worked on more comic series than his best-known family.
Draw a character yourself
In the drawing corner, children can draw a comic character with video instruction from Jan Kruis.
Paintings and illustrations too
There are also paintings, portraits and applied art. Kruis’s illustrations for Woutertje Pieterse, his work on Sint Pannekoek and his work for the Leprastichting in Suriname and Mozambique feature too.
