A captain's house full of Ameland history
You walk through rooms of objects telling the island's story. The open store and upper floor offer more to discover. The entrance exhibition, temporary exhibition and permanent exhibition in the adjoining barn are wheelchair-accessible. The small Sorgdrager house and open store are not.
Valta's interiors
From 12 October, Valta will exhibit paintings on the theme of interiors at the museum. Every Wednesday afternoon in November, from 2 to 4 p.m., Valta will lead an art afternoon with visitors, considering a masterpiece of art history: its story, techniques and practical background.
