From street to collection
According to OOG TV, the initiative displays finds from the neighbourhood. Choose an object whose use you don’t immediately recognise. What can you actually see, and what are you filling in yourself?
A place in the neighbourhood
The available information points to Het Oude Politiebureau on Zaagmuldersweg. The neighbourhood initiative and the community restaurant form the setting for the visit; check in advance whether the display is accessible.
Look without inventing a story
With a puzzling find, an explanation is quickly to hand. First try to describe only its shape, material and damage. Keep your hunch as a question rather than mistaking it for the object’s history.
Before you go
The sources give different visiting windows. Current museum opening hours are not confirmed; check with the venue.
