Borg Verhildersum tells the story of noble families, farmers and farm labourers in the nineteenth century. The 33-hectare estate includes the manor, a farm museum and a workers’ cottage.
The manor displays the largest family portrait in the Netherlands. The grounds also include a historic orchard and a sculpture garden with work by Eddy Roos.
