The information from the church describes a furnished one-room dwelling. Look at where different activities have been given a place in the display. What is close together, and what seems to be carefully kept apart? In this way the limited space itself becomes a subject.

The description mentions oil lighting and peat heating as part of the furnishings. Look for how these are explained in the cottage. Don’t draw immediate conclusions about every household from one small interior; look at what this particular display sets out to show.
A focused look
