Looking carefully at a room
According to the museum, after an introduction you can look round on your own. Start with the function of a room. How do the furniture and furnishings support that function, and what information does the explanation add?
Art within the interior
The collection page mentions porcelain, paintings and a painted ceiling, among other things. Look at a work of art first as part of the room and then on its own. Does your attention change when you move from the whole space to the material or what is depicted?
The buildings around it
The coach house, orangery and apple orchard are also among the parts of the estate described. Ask what is accessible and, if necessary, set aside time for outdoors. The borg thus sits within a larger whole of places with different functions.
