Typesetting machines, a band saw, telephones and a dragline are part of the varied collection. Choose a few items and ask what work was done with them. The differences show how broad the concept of industrial heritage is.
A building with a story
A guided tour can also cover the Noordkade complex or Spoorpark. That is an extension of the museum visit and requires a separate appointment. Discuss the route you want in advance, so that the time and the number of guides match it.
Morning or afternoon
Regular opening is on Wednesday afternoon and Saturday morning. That makes the day you choose important for your arrival time. Most rooms are wheelchair friendly, but there are thresholds; ask about a suitable route if these could be an obstacle.
