A different space for art
A sculpture in a living room stands differently from one in a large museum gallery. Notice the distance to furniture, walls and other objects. These surroundings can guide your gaze and invite you to view a sculpture from different positions.
Changing content
The museum house also makes room for temporary three-dimensional art. Check which exhibition is on if you want to see a particular artist. The link with Museum JAN does not mean that both places always have the same programme.
Arrange it first
The artist information mentions visits by appointment, while other listings adopt Museum JAN’s regular hours. So ask explicitly about the museum house and report to the designated entrance at Dorpsstraat 50. The house address alone is not a walk-in route.
Before you go
Have access to the museum house confirmed; Museum JAN’s regular hours are not enough for this.
