An old name in listings
HAL and De Hallen refer to an earlier exhibition function at this site. Old announcements and opening times do not give access to a current Frans Hals display on the Grote Markt.
To the Hof location
The current museum route is at Groot Heiligland 62. That location has its own programme and possible gallery restrictions, so use the current visitor information before you book.
Not everything at the same address
Other facilities on the Grote Markt are separate from the discontinued HAL function. The Archeologisch Museum, for example, has its own entrance and opening hours, which are not arranged via HAL.
Before you go
There are no longer any museum hours for HAL. Check the address, ticket and exhibition before you set off, so that you do not end up at the former entrance.
