Weesper Automaten Kabinet: mechanisms for play and amusement

The Weesper Automaten Kabinet is a private collection of coin-operated amusement machines and mechanical toys. Visits to the location behind the town hall are organised by appointment only.

Plan your visit ↗

Watching the movement

With mechanical toys, the action is often an important part of the fun. Ask which items can be demonstrated during a visit. Then notice the connection between the operation and what the mechanism shows or lets you hear.

A visit tailored to you

The available information does not give an extensive, up-to-date list of objects. It is therefore worth saying what interests you when you make your request, for example the technology or historical games. This can make clear which programme is possible.

Mainly for pre-arranged groups

The cabinet offers group packages and has no regular drop-in. Discuss numbers, duration and any practical requirements in advance. The visiting address on the Middenstraat is not the same as the organisation’s correspondence address.

Before you go

Make an appointment and have the visiting address and programme confirmed; there is no weekly drop-in schedule.
