More than a mechanism
A windmill works technically, but it also stands in a world of products and people. The multimedia display offers a way of looking at those aspects side by side. Ask how a process on display is linked to work and trade.
A starting point for outdoors
After the museum you can choose which mill function you want to explore further. A paint mill or sawmill offers a different subject from an oil mill. Do check separately which mill is open and which ticket you need for it.
Winter hours change
From March to October a longer daily schedule applies. In November and December the hours are shorter; in January and February the museum is also closed on Mondays. The arrangements for the museum do not automatically apply to every windmill.
