Watching things being made
The factory describes both hand and machine production. During the tour, ask which processes are shown and what a member of staff checks along the way. That way you can look at a product in terms of material and method, rather than only at the end result.
Different crafts
Coffee and tea form another part of what the visit offers. Notice what comparison the explanation draws between the products. It is interesting to follow individual processes rather than putting everything under a single heading such as craft.
The right entrance and time
Shop and coffee bar hours are separate from a factory tour. Several addresses on Oudestraat and Voorstraat are used. Your booking confirmation must make clear where you are expected and which programme goes with your reservation.
Before you go
Book the tour online and use the confirmed entrance. Open access to the shop is not access to the factory.
