A festival in many materials
A song on record, a picture book and a small statue each carry a different image of the festival. Compare period, language and depiction carefully.
Changing figures
Sinterklaas and Piet figures can show how appearance and role have shifted over time. Date them first and avoid a timeless presentation.
Move to a shop
The old basement location is no longer current; reports link the collection to Mens & Kinders. Shop hours, however, are no proof of guaranteed museum access.
Before you go
Reports mention Mens & Kinders at Assendorperstraat 66 as the new location. Confirm before you set off that the collection is accessible; shop hours are not guaranteed museum hours.
