From sports car to design drawing
Donald M. Healey designed cars and boats after the Second World War. The museum’s collection includes a Healey 100S coupé, a prototype BN3/4, a Nash-Healey and an Austin-Healey 100S. Displays change, so the vehicles on view depend on the day of the visit.
Beyond the cars
The vehicles are accompanied by technical drawings, model cars, engines and racing memorabilia. The museum also holds Geoffrey Healey’s personal archive and an extensive Sprite archive. Together they connect design, driving and preservation.
Run by volunteers
The Healey Museum Foundation manages the collection and archive. Volunteers welcome visitors and help with documentation. Researchers can enquire about access to the archive in advance.
Plan your visit
The museum is open Friday to Sunday, 11 am to 5 pm. It may close for private events; its calendar lists exceptions. Groups of at least twenty can request a visit outside regular hours.
