A class to look at
The schoolroom is furnished as a classroom from 1920. Notice the layout and the elements the museum uses to create that picture of the period. Compare it with your own experience of school, without assuming that every school used to be the same.
The ring fort next to the school
A permanent display is about ring forts (ringwalburgen). Behind the museum lies the Carolingian ring fort, so inside and outside can complement each other. Read the explanations first so that you know better what to look out for outside.
The third room changes
The temporary exhibition room offers different subjects or local art each year. So check the current exhibition. The entrance has steps and the museum is not wheelchair accessible. Friday is not a regular opening day either, although some weekly overviews seem to suggest so.
