Search digitally first
The online collection helps you explore which material relates to a name, place or subject. Keep the references you find; they make a follow-up question more focused and help you prepare for consulting the material.
To the reading room
To use the reading room, you book in advance and check the conditions for the documents you want. Not every document you have found is simply available the moment you walk in.
Plan exhibitions separately
The exhibition programme is a public offering in its own right. Weekend opening may differ per exhibition and does not automatically follow from the regular hours for research or contact.
Before you go
Check the hours of the specific part you are visiting. If you plan a weekend visit, ask directly about the exhibition and discuss any help with accessibility in advance.
