Painting and sculpture
Chabot is presented as a painter and sculptor. See which works are included in the current display and how the explanations bring his different forms of work together.
An expressive form
In the art on display, pay attention to colour, line and volume. The way a subject is depicted can deserve as much attention as the subject itself; the gallery texts offer a next step.
Looking at the villa
Take in the transitions between rooms too. The building is part of your experience of the display, without every visit including a separate architecture tour.
Before you go
On Sundays the museum opens later than on other visiting days. Schools and groups make an appointment; ask in advance about accessibility and current combination tickets.
