Jewish children were taught religion and Hebrew in this small school building. Plaques on the outside wall bear the names of Jewish residents of Leek who were deported and murdered during the Second World War.
After the war, the building was used as a shed. It was restored in 1995 and opened as a museum and memorial to Leek’s Jewish community.
